About Mitch Contracting

Over 100 Years Serving Western North Carolina

Founded in 1918 as Crouch-Mitch House Moving Company by G.E. Crouch, we are proud to have been in business in North Carolina for more than a century. Our early services involved house moving, but in 1978 our expanded vision incorporated the business as Mitch Contracting Company.

Diversified services now include structural moving (of more than just houses), interior and exterior demolition, and waste services through dumpster rental. Our experienced leadership and knowledgeable team of specialists are committed to safety, quality and best practices for all our services and products throughout Western North Carolina.

I’ve used Mitch contracting now for several years, they handle all my debris and demo needs from complete home removal to 10yard short cans! Very efficient demo and clean up is always great, wouldn’t know a house was even there after they left! Small containers are also fast and efficient in tight job conditions which is allot of where I work. They are the best!
